Yum Pla Duk Fu (Crispy Fluffy Fish w/ Green Mango Salad)
Yum Pla Duk Fu is one of the popular dishes that many families love. I have a catfish around. And sweet and sour juice, whether children or adults are attracted.
Thai folk food in the present, which is no less. And another menu that Thai people like to eat a lot or even buy a souvenir. And the menu that I'm going to talk about is "Yum Pla Duk Fu" sure enough.
It can be topped with a salad made from thinly sliced green (unripe and tangy) mango, shallots, fish sauce, chillies, lime juice, sugar and coriander leaves, or as seen here, the salad served on the side to prevent the crispy fish from turning soggy. It can be eaten as a snack, a starter, or as one of the main course dishes of a full meal.
Traditionally this dish uses Thai charcoal-grilled catfish (pla duk yang), which is widely available on the streets of Thailand. It really doesn’t matter much which kind of fish you use, and indeed Thai people routinely use various other types of fish when the catfish isn’t available.
